My screen only has scratches — does the glass need to be replaced?

Not necessarily. We can often polish away light scratches without opening the watch: the factory seal stays intact and the screen looks sharp again. If the glass is actually cracked rather than scratched, glass or screen replacement is the right solution — when in doubt, ask our technician for advice.

Do you replace the screen or glass of other Apple Watch models (iWatch)?

Is my Apple Watch SE 2 still water-resistant after screen replacement?

Accepted Answer

When installing the new glass or screen, we use waterproof adhesive and seal the case hermetically. However, water resistance may partially diminish after screen repair — Apple also doesn't cover water damage under its own warranty, and we follow their lead. So keep your watch away from water after the repair.

The price depends on the type of repair: replacing only the glass is more affordable than a full screen replacement, because your original display is preserved. Both prices are shown at the top of this page and include VAT and labor costs. Additionally, you don't pay in advance — only when it's clear what the repair involves.

Only glass replacement or a complete new screen — what's the difference?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the damage to your Apple Watch SE 2: Glass replacement (glass-only) — the display still works perfectly and only the outer glass is cracked. We replace only the glass: your original Apple OLED display is preserved and the touchscreen responds as it should afterward. Note: the display may not show black spots or stripes. Full screen replacement — the screen stays black, flickers, or shows dead pixels or spots. Then we install a complete new screen with original Apple image quality, bright colors, and good contrast. Unsure? Our technician will look at your screen and advise which repair — new glass or a new screen — is the right choice for your watch.
